Abstract It is well known that when a horizontal layer of fluid heated from below, thermal boundary less dense and hot rises up. When this becomes unstable, convective motion in the above sets in. Forecasting instabilities take place essential. salt dissolved saturating porous medium below considered, simultaneous mass diffusion occur. Unlike heat, can only through phase, so an additional physical effect has to be considered: Soret effect, flux created by temperature gradient. In present paper onset convection rotating bi-disperse saturated binary mixture, taking into account , analysed. Linear stability analysis performed order determine instability thresholds for via steady state (stationary convection) oscillatory (oscillatory convection). Nonlinear obtain global threshold with respect $$L^2$$ L2 -norm.
